DesignJet Large-Format Printer to Get Ripp’ed
March 11, 2007- Hewlett-Packard has announced the Designjet Z3100ps GP, which adds a PostScript RIP to the large format photo printer, enabling designers to output vector artwork, graphics and text for clients or proofing.
The HP Designjet Z3100ps GP features 12 inks and HP’s DreamColor technology, a certified system of color technologies and sciences that the company says make it easy to produce accurate, predictable and consistent color across a series of digital color devices. The new easy-to-use embedded Adobe PS3/PDF RIP eliminates the need to dedicate a specific computer just for the RIP software and compressing files. Read more
