Adobe Ships Creative Suite 3 Production Premium and Master Collection

Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced the immediate availability of Adobe® Creative Suite® 3 Production Premium and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection software. Adobe Production Premium CS3 is the industry’s most comprehensive collection of integrated cross-platform post-production software tools, helping video professionals deliver stunning results for film, broadcast, DVD, Web, and mobile devices. Winner of the Font Technology Award 2007 Announced by Linotype

The integration of state-of-the-art technology with design has rarely been so accessible. That, in a nutshell, was Linotype’s TypoTechnica™ 2007, which took place in April at the Gutenberg Schule in Frankfurt, Germany. The 4th TypoTechnica offered typography and software professionals a relaxed opportunity to immerse themselves in everything from the latest trends in design to fresh-off-the-press developments in digital high-tech, as well as some notable surprises. Veer Acquires Mean Tangerine Pixel Type Foundry

Veer, a producer and provider of visual elements and design-related products, announced that the company has acquired the Mean Tangerine Type Foundry, a pixel font collection created by type designer and Mean Tangerine founder Tyler Young of Santa Cruz, California.

“The acquisition of Mean Tangerine marks a milestone in Veer’s type product offerings,” said Don Wieshlow, vice president of products and a founding partner of Veer. “With new technologies demanding well-designed, crisp fonts on screen, this collection allows us to fill an important niche.”

The Mean Tangerine collection, exclusive to Veer, includes more than 180 fonts designed for all types of digital technology such as web sites, flash, and mobile devices.
